Lyft ride ends with broken rear window

On August 10, 2026, at approximately 5:08 p.m., New York State Police at Endwell arrested Jarmel Rodriques Brevard for the misdemeanor of Criminal Mischief in the 4^th degree. 

Troopers were dispatched to a report of criminal mischief on Glendale Drive in the town of Union.  The investigation revealed that while utilizing Lyft, Brevard became upset with the driver, exited the vehicle, a 2021 Honda Pilot, and punched the rear window, causing it to break. 

Troopers located Brevard at an apartment on Glendale Drive, and he was arrested.  He was processed at SP Endwell and issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Union Town Court on August 25, 2026.
