Teen Rescued from Hoosick River Following Train Trestle Jump in Town of Hoosick
A 16-year-old was rescued Friday afternoon after jumping from a train trestle into the Hoosick River near Mechanic Street, according to officials.
On April 4 at approximately 3:30 p.m., Forest Ranger Jackson responded to a water rescue call in the Town of Hoosick. At 3:48 p.m., Ranger Jackson met with Hoosick Falls Fire and Hoosick Falls Police at the scene, where the teenager was found clinging to a rock just upstream from a waterfall.

Barn Fire in the town of Aurelius results in loss of livestock
Troopers, along with multiple responding fire departments, arrived on scene to find a barn fully engulfed in flames.
