Santos, who was reportedly employed by the business, allegedly stole more than $50,000 worth of Cannabis from the facility between March 11, 2026, and March 13, 2026. A 16-year-old was rescued Friday afternoon after jumping from a train trestle into the Hoosick River near Mechanic Street, according to officials. On April 4 at approximately 3:30 p.m., Forest Ranger Jackson responded to a water rescue call in the Town of Hoosick. At 3:48 p.m., Ranger Jackson met with Hoosick Falls Fire and Hoosick Falls Police at the scene, where the teenager was found clinging to a rock just upstream from a waterfall.

Troopers, along with multiple responding fire departments, arrived on scene to find a barn fully engulfed in flames. The property owner reported that approximately 40 ducks, 30 turkeys, several chickens, and one pig were inside the structure at the time of the fire and were unable to escape. Tragically, all animals perished.

At approximately 5:47 am, a gray Jeep Wrangler struck the rear of the marked State Police troop car. The impact caused the troop car to be pushed a significant distance from the right lane to the center and left lanes. The Jeep left the roadway and came to rest on the right shoulder.

The New York State Police are investigating a serious motor vehicle incident that occurred on Colony Park Drive in the town of Salina, Onondaga County.

An investigation determined that a female suspect operating a 2016 Subaru struck a female victim prior to police arrival. A male attempted to stop the suspect by positioning his vehicle behind hers, at which point the suspect backed into his vehicle.
