Police Seize Massive Drug Haul in New Hartford, NY - Arrest One

Utica, NY – A large-scale narcotics investigation in Utica has led to a major drug seizure and arrest in New Hartford, according to the Utica Police Department.
On September 19, 2025, investigators with Utica Police’s Special Investigations Unit, assisted by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office and the New Hartford Police Department, executed a search warrant at a residence on 6 Alexandria Road.
Inside, officers discovered:
Over 7.5 pounds (3,480 grams) of cocaine
Approximately 85 pounds of marijuana
Nearly $20,000 in suspected drug proceeds
Scales and packaging materials
Several thousand pills of suspected methamphetamine (pending confirmation by the New York State Crime Lab)
Police say additional charges are likely following lab analysis of the pills.
At the conclusion of the search, William Hubbard, 35, of New Hartford was taken into custody and charged with:
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree
Authorities credit the joint operation between agencies for the successful seizure and say the investigation remains ongoing.
