New Hartford, N.Y. — Seafood lovers in the Mohawk Valley have a new reason to celebrate as Fresco Fish Market has officially opened its new, expanded location on Seneca Turnpike, taking over the former Dippin’ Donuts building.
Just in time for the Lenten season, Fresco Fish Market marked the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, highlighting its exciting new features. The beloved seafood spot will soon offer a drive-thru, making it easier than ever to grab fresh fish and seafood on the go. Customers will also have the convenience of ordering online and picking up their meals curbside.
For owner Francesco Affatigato, this expansion is a dream come true. “People that have known me for two decades, growing up in my father's Kossuth Fish Market business, have heard, and can recall me saying in my teens, that I always wanted to be on a main strip and to have a drive-thru version of a fish market,” Affatigato shared. “To finally realize that dream, and to see the response from people, has just been a very heartwarming thing.”
Beyond serving the public, Fresco Fish Market also supplies fresh seafood to local restaurants, reinforcing its reputation as a go-to seafood provider in the area.
Fresco’s is now open seven days a week, giving customers plenty of opportunities to enjoy its high-quality, fresh seafood. Whether you’re stopping by for a meal or stocking up for a home-cooked seafood feast, the new location promises convenience and quality like never before.
