State Police arrest Schenectady woman for stealing more than $50,000 from employer
On February 11, 2025, Troopers received a complaint from a Duanesburg, NY business reporting a theft. The investigation determined Luby had been employed by the business in the accounting department since January 2020. From January 2022 until December 2023, Luby allegedly overpaid herself without authorization or permission on multiple dates, resulting in the theft of more than $50,000 from the business.
